National Irish Coffee Day

Happy National Irish Coffee Day! The tale of this cocktail goes as such: In the winter of 1942-1943 there was a group of weary American travelers that stopped in a pub for a drink one evening. The bartender, Joe Sheridan, in order to rouse and lift their spirits, presented them with the warm coffee mixture, curing their every needs. Since that night, Irish Coffee has been a staple for bar menus all over the world, and that holds true for Drumbar as well. Below is a simple yet delicious recipe for this cocktail for you to enjoy on nights such as these. But, as the legend goes, it is certainly better when sipped at a bar by the fire for a Sunday evening escape. Cheers!
